I've used only coupla times a mount that has taken damage in battle. I used my
heal mount spell to heal it but the spell sucks very much. You have to cast it
many times to heal your mount even one shape. The effect of knight heal mount
and beastmasters mount healing herb(or whatever it was) should be multiplied.

I think it would be reasonable that if you are healing a mount(also tzarakk
mount), an ancient drake would heal one whole shape with one cast. A grizzly
bear could two shapes etc...

The spell was designed to not be incredible on purpose. Mounts are monsters,
and as such, use monstrous hpregen. That means that large mounts already
naturally heal faster than a ranger camping next to a fire. The heal mount
spell helps touch it up a bit faster, but is basically the equivilent of the
pitiful clw spell monks use.

Now, if you need mount heals quickly, it's probably the same reason as you'd
want personal heals quickly, and a "real" healer is called for. Note that
druids have special abilities when healing animals.

It also means, that a mount that is not 100% resistant to the damagetype
monster deals, is not really usable e.g. for 3man defensive parties.

You don't wanna waste all your sp just to heal your mount.

Well, druids get a vetinary skill which boosts the healing power of
healing spells cast on mounts, it helps quite alot
