I think it would be nice to have a 'positive feedback' news group
where players could say what they like about the game instead of
just listening to flame..

Im aware now of 'help commend' and I think this is a great feature but
maybe if those complements were posted, other people could see and the
"every mudder is ungrateful" theme thats been going around would be
countered by people who are, and if they had a place to say so..

I realize BS newsgroup could be used for this but no one respects serious
opinions in bs. The new newsgroup could be a place for players to talk about
reincs they like, areas they like, maybe features of the game as well
(like prompt, i donno, special command features, anything) And the advantage
of having a newsgroup for this would be that other people would be able
to see, and maybe those negative players could find things they like afterall.

Until this new newsgroup gets posted im not going to bother with news anymore,
comments are nasty, people are rude, there is no positive outlet.. bye.

I think this news group is a good idea. Not to bring up power hour again *eep*
But from what I know power hour was removed because of all the whining
and fighting back and forth on flame. There was the people that hated phour
and the only way people could respond to it was by being like shut up, power
hour rocks because they were in flames news group. I just think that
maybe good ideas that are implemented wouldnt be thrown out the window so
fast because of all the whining if the wizards got to see some positive
feedback
from players.
