Please Please can merchants have some sort of regen even if its crappy, Seems
the only way for one to regen would be to take enough bard levels to get
epsong or to rely on people bot/regening you. Would like to see something so
that a merchant who is too small to have those bard levels or too broke to
keep paying people to bot/regen them while mining/amalgamating and the like be
able to have an independent regen.

You idea has no merit because there has to be some base level of comparison.
Then this base level can be boosted by various means. In this case bard
levels or bot (and more that you didn't mention).
Currently you are playing the game at the lower level. The solution to your
dilema is not a game tune but instead you need to advance your character.
Directly, I mean earn some experience and take bard levels, or get enough cash
to pay for bot's. Or even maybe you could learn to do the best you character
can and work yourself up/deal with long regen times. At least you have a
clear view of where you need to be.

Ok, I totally agree with Duke btw. And since Mingray's sarcastic post seemed
stupid to me, I'd like to respond in a better manner to this problem.
For awhile I think they've been trying to make merchants a social guild. It is
VERY much so more profitable to join teams. So you do not have the experience
to do it all? Then don't. Be a little bitch for someone and just specialize.
You will have to split profits, but as a team you guys can do it all. Mining
is much faster as a team anyway. Team up with someone who has EP song. Itz
more efficient since EP song refills the whole room... (now think about that
and when you have -6k eps after amalgamating something big).
