I totally agree with Martow. Rebirth is not meant to be a way to totally start
as a newbie, otherwise what would be the point, a better way to do that would
be to donate all eq away and suicide. Rebirth is mostly about status (and
somewhat about doing quests and stuff again), and anyone saying otherwise is a
liar .

Besides this just makes the outlook of the mud really ridiculous. Mortals
running around the realm leading races instead of the elders, ancients and the
eternals.

Well this woulda lead that elders and ancients woulda be really elder races,
not just some dusty lousy skeleton. Mostly reborn races are better than
normals, but there shoulda be few more picks to fill in the gaps, like evil
relig is far easier racewise for reborn races than good relig. Add some kinda
goodie dude there too (2nd birth?) as first has lich and 2nd has devil.
