New skill for merchants wanted, one that would make them possible to add few
lines to items long desc, such as "this is the damned parry version" "this is
the maxspr version" you get the picture... This due to handling of chest
inventory these days when we have multiple eq with same short desc, long desc
but different random stats and so on. I think most of us have lots of such
stuff in our chests and most of us would like to make it easier to handle our
chest inventory.

I believe Ruffneck suggested this almost a year ago, might have been two for all I remember, but it was called Engraving and was intended to be like what you just suggested, and i believe the respone to it was pretty much like this, no wizard seemed interested.
