With new eq decay affecting all eq permanent condition, why not give merches
the ability to take 2 pieces of same eq and repair max cond of one, while
consuming the other. This would achieve what I think the original purpose of
decay was I think (decreasing number of artifacts), while allowing a person to
keep their eq. It could work as so: use augment weapon/armour/item at piece
to keep with piece to consume Obviously merch skill and condition of eq to be
kept could determine its new max condition after merging. If this idea has
already been proposed, forgive my redundancy -- I am trying to wade through
