Three weeks to go!
If the premilinary list of participants is any indication,
KepuCon 2009 will be the biggest Batcon in the recent years
with players coming from all over the globe.
The place is the same as last year so KepuCon veterans
know the drill but here's some DOS and DON'TS for the rookies:
PLEASE DO:
---------------------------------------------------------------
-Pay your fee before the con. There's plenty of time to break
your piggy bank or sell your grandmother and give 5 euros
your friend to transfer if you cannot do it yourself.
-Pack your sleeping bag and portable mattress and a tent if you
happen to own one. There are beds and mattresses, but the crowd
will be considerablybigger this year and we will most likely
run out of space.
-Consider alternative accommodations.
If you're not enthusiastic about camping or sharing the floor
with other passed out mudders, you might want to check the cabins
at Montta, which is 3-4 kilometers from KepuCon place. I know some
of you have already done this. -----> www.montta.fi
-Keep in mind that we will have neighbours really close by AND we
might want to rent the place in the future too. So let's be considerate
and keep the noise level down, especially later in the night.
-Arrange car pools so everyone can get there!
Also, the yard will fill up fast and you might have to leave your
car further away along the road.
AND DON'T
--------------------------------------------------------------
-Ask me if you should come or not or if you're going to get in
trouble or if someone will beat you up because..
A) I'm not your mother. You don't need my promision.

I'm not your babysitter. You're grown up and able to take
care of yourself.
C) I'm not your girlfriend. If you've been a jackass and got
into trouble, it's not my concern and I won't kiss your
boo boos better.
-Start a fight. This is an event to gather together, meet friends
and make new ones. Leave your game/personal conflicts behind or stay
home. OR ELSE.. I'll make Stomp sit on you!
-Nina the Hostess
