The satyr elders decided that the race is a (boring) disgrace and
something must be done; they formed an interesting pact with pixies.
When a satyr kills something major the pixies might record it to their
archives, and a satyr can call on the pixies to come and prove his
kills for the public.

It is possible to visit the guild of satyrs to examine the kills made
by any satyr, this service is available for anyone.

Also they consulted Noitulove, the Forger of Songs, to learn about
the magics of singing. A boasting song was taught that is said to
have magical qualities - it is rumoured that it soothes the mind
and body likewise.

But when you start to tinker with magical singing you might get more
than what you asked for.

The satyrs found new confidence with the changes and reports say
their movement has become more agile... also the time spent learning
singing enhanced their knowledge of skills, whereas it slightly
lowered their orientation in things magical.
