I can transfer from a pouch in a chest to a pouch in my inventory, but i cant
extract from a pouch in a chest to my inventory, perhaps change this?

I could if I would. Objects only 'do' things to that which they touch. A pouch
in a chest does not 'touch' you, so there's not much that can be done about
it.

Oh, you can transfer out of a chest because the pouch you _are_ carrying
touches you.
