We already have the timestamp on posts, would be nice to
use it for something.

Ahemm, news are written in chronological order, right? That's how you read
them as well :D

I somehow seem to usually read the replies before the original posts...not too
bad when the reply does an entire quote, but when they do a partial quote or
paraphrase, it gets a little confusing...then i read the original message a
few messages later and scroll back to read the reply.

unfortunatly it is not. Because the news reader you coded
sorts by group, and not by chronological order. So, if
someone replies to a post in a different group, such as
BS. And I read BS first, then I have to read the reply
before the original document. This is not a hard concept
to understand.

Well, that's why we split news by groups. Where have you seen group-based
newsreaders which would make replies to a different group transparent? What's
the point of making groups at all then?

I wanted the _Option_ to read in chronological order,
but I doubt it will ever happen seeing as how you
cannot understand the concept. Sorry for wasting
everyone's time.

You can pretty much fix this by sorting the flame group down with the bs
group, so we doing have to read everybody's insults about an idea before we
get to read the idea itself.
