There is so little midbie eq going around, and what's of it is complete
crap. Mostly sac stuff. Everybody's aiming for the big whoop(tm) and nothing
is safe. I suggest you put bucketloads of eq to all mobs, make their sacworth
zero and put level/age/background restrictions to them. This way you'll have
more parties going all around making items for their level, having fun. And
after their done with the eq (go above the restrictions), they can toss it
because you have to have a name on the eq to wear it.
On the contrast, make real more real eqmobs that give more random eq, but
something that's always worth the while. You'll get more trading, more
interesting eqcombos and parties that go kill a mob just to see what is has,
not for just some boring show that is all about the dice.
Furthermore: You could create personal picks for mobs. So that mob gives
an item for you only, plus the normal stuff. This eq is yours only, nobody
else can wear it. This way you'd always get something from an eq party,
no matter the dice.
And not to forget the merchants/alchs, these personal eq's could be
dismantled for expensive raw materials that could be used to create
new stuff that is usable by all.
