Would be nice to have a way to set up a direct withdrawal from your bank
account, on a day that you pick, to pay for things such as city taxes. Say I
owe $$$ amount each month for my city. I could go to the bank or city tax
office, set up a payment to come out on XX day of the month, and forget about
it. As far as I can see you can only pay city taxes 4 months ahead but some
of us may have to be away for a longer period of time and would like to keep
our taxes paid up without having to log in to keep taxes current. Not sure
what other applications this would work for...

Having pcity taxes deductible directly from bank would indeed be nice, but the
wizards will explicitly not code such a feature or anything similar. The
current system in place exists specifically and entirely to annoy solo pcity
owners.

See, the wizards apparently didn't know how much money was in the game
(possible), or maybe somehow didn't think that many people would go for owning
cities (openly admitted by a few wizards). Then they found out people would
build cities for dicksize, boredom, and even stick empty ones with a few shops
next to cash areas. So now there's this terse standoff as they quietly wish
some of the C's constantly sprouting up all over the landscape would quietly
go the hell away. Player city owners who don't play actively are their prime
targets, and this brings us to the current state of affairs.
