Atm market is preety flooded with eq, and Bat has small exp inflation problem.
Usually many eq monsies are not worth killing becouse noone needs their eq.
Equipment could have possibility to be upgraded with 50% chances of desting.
The more the item would be unpgraded the higher the chances could be.
Price of trying to upgrade eq could be preety high too, in cash&exp like 1m
cash+10m exp or price could depand from stat.
I believe many ppl would try their luck.
It would get rid of lots of eq,exp,cash from game.
Would it be dangerous to let someone upgrate 5_spr 2int hbm to 6_spr 2int and
then to 7_spr 2int and then to 8_spr 2int? I am not sure.
It wouldn't be cheap for sure.
8_spr 2int (old eckma) would come from hbm if you wasted 8 rings (3m each) and
14 attemps (140m exp +14m cash considering 50% chances to dest each time). Not
to mention getting 10m exp on hand 14 times.
I don't think it would be very unbalancing.. many highbies just sit and idle
gringing at their chests with top highend ungetable eq, without option to make
it any better.

Um, yeah, lets tune the mud so all your eq dests, and level 100 players can
sell it to you repeatedly at an inflated cost. Not.

Why would you risk loosing your eq if you need it ? I see you failed to
understand what i ment Highbies would have OPTION to WILLINGLY risk DESTing
of EQ if process of upgrading it. Imho it is better to risk desting the eq
then just repeatedly selling it to newbies. Why do i have to hold 10 hbms in
my chests or 3 pairs of gk gloves or 6 tyra swords ? Or why should i even go
help someone kill those monsies ever again. Sure we can flood the market and
let newbies get really good eq for close to 0 efford. Some ppl flood the
market some "lend" the eq. I just very dislike the idea of heaving no reason
to play here or of flooding the market with eq that is repeatedly raped. One
way or another it will end, ppl will get bored with having no reason to keep
on killing same monsters over and over or the marked will be even more flooded
with eq, and soon every clueless newbie will be runing around with top eq
Sure we can just wait and see where it goes, but imho it is better to act
before it goes that far... if it is not too late.
