For the sixteen contestants:

At reboot, the battles will begin. Head for the betting room, look at the list
of your opponents, and challenge one. You can challenge anyone who is
-- logged on
-- has the same number of wins as you
-- has not made it to the Battle Royale finals (which happens with 2 wins).

You cannot challenge anyone while challenged yourself, nor can you challenge
someone already challenged. However anyone challenged who does not accept
within one hour, loses.

Once you are challenged, you have one hour to respond or you lose the contest.
Go to the arena annex of your choice (I suggest reading the screens in the
annexes to decide which one you like best). Accept the challenge, and your
enemy has one hour to respond or he is eliminated.

Once both of you are in the correct annex, you will need a wizard to ref the
batle. For this battle, the wizard who refs has the ability to zap mortals who
stall, rather than fight. This will still count as a win for your opponent
because you still died.
