the helm and went below deck to rest my eyes. I was awoken some time later,
alerted to the sight of black sails astern. While remaining merely on the
horizon, they lay in pursuit, studying our paths and breaking off only at the
sight of the naval blockade protecting the port of Shadowkeep. Some other
captains at the local pub, the Flying Dragon, made mention of similar sightings
at sea, across the many realms. Something is afoot indeed and I am as uneasy as
ever. There have been whispers of retired sea captains, opening up shop and
starting academies for young new recruits, as well as naval captains, thirsty
