Well, as some of you have figured out, there was, in fact, an April Fool's
event. Those of you who challenge and beat the minesweeper from March Madness,
spawn a slaad to fight. Defeat the slaad for a prize ticket, which you can
exchange for a special item.

Most of the items are eq with stats that scale with level. These items last
for one year. If you don't need/want a +stats item, you can take the treasure
chest for a one-shot boost of cash. You only get a ticket for defeating your
_own_ slaad, but you can help others fight theirs.

You can challenge minesweeper througghout the month of April, but no matter
what, you can only cash in one ticket.
