I think I'll never understand why men and women have such different sexual
needs. Venus, Mars - I'll never get it. Why do men decide things logically and
women emotionally?
It all happened this way: Last week, my wife and I were going to sleep. I
tried to approach her with sex, but in the end I heard her say "You know, I
just don't want to just now. Just hold me in your arms for a while."
"WHAAAT??" And then she said the scariest thing that a man can hear from his
beloved: "Yes, dear, I mean it. I think you just don't understand my emotional
needs." I lay there wondering what was wrong with her. Anyway, that evening
nothing happened and we just fell asleep.
The next day we went shopping to a large mall. We visited several stores with
her, she tried on three different dresses and spent a large while trying to
decide which to buy. I told her to take all three. Then she went to the shoe
department and I let her choose a pair of shoes for each of the evening
dresses she picked. On the way we passed the jewellery stands, and she took a
pair of earrings and a tennis bracelet. I just said it was all fine with me.
Anyhow, she was almost screaming with delight, her pleasure seemed almost
physically sexual. You should have seen her radiant face when she said: "Well,
dear, I think that's all, let's go toward the cashier." I had trouble keeping
a straight face when I answered: "You know dear, I don't think I want to pay
for this all just now." Do you know what the expression 'face fall' means? All
this gamma of emotion, ranging from bewilderment, disappointment,
exasperation, anger... could be seen on my belived's face. "Really dear," said
I, "I just want you to hold in your arms all of this." And when she looked
ready to jump at me and scratch my eyes out, I added: "I think you just don't
understand my male financial capabilities."
So I guess I'll have to wait till year 2008 to get some sex.
