Err... "if something needs to be changed or not"? I'd say there has been so
much discontent among players because of the latest tune that damn right you'd
have to change something :)

Luckily, not all arch\'s listen and act, blindly, on the behalf of
\'discontent players\'.

Anything walking on two legs with a heartbeat knew we would have a bunch
of whining morons due to the lowered exptune.

Player discontent is generally not a good indicator of much. Regardless of
the change, there will be some quantity of communicated discontent. The
reason discontent is not all that useful is because the people happy with
things are less likely to speak up, yet that does not discount their
happiness.


Monitoring such discontent leads to wizards making bad assumptions like: "We
have to fix this problem, because everyone hates it", "Who's everyone?", "Ok,
well 2 people on flame channel didn't like it, it must represent the whole
