Why do i need a specific example, the fact that its annoying to have people
snooping you for nothing but for their own entertainment, should be good
reason to disable it.

If some wizard feels like he wants to spend his time snooping players for a
good laugh, perhaps he could watch 'Days of our life', or code his way to X
(lets say level 50), and then get his good laugh out of snooping people for no
obvious reasons

It's kinda not my businness, and I'm not really fond of snooping (what new can
you see there anyway?). But I'd guess that someone who failed as a wizard
should withdraw from implying on policies which were in place long before.
Luckily this mud doesn't bend over in front of one single player.

Ah, and if you have something to say about my news reader (something else than
"I am stupid and I can't learn 2 commands to reply properly), something
creative (like a *oh, damn* idea of an improvement) - you're welcome.

Snoop is sometimes a valuable command when it comes to
debugging problems in an area or some libcode. Disabling
it from wizards would severely restrict their ability
to work on problems.

Abuses of snoop can be reported to the archwizards, and
we also monitor the logs for suspicious snoop activities.

Heh somebody is having delusions about his entertaiment value.
The truth is that snooping people, swedish people in particular, is right up
there next to watching paint dry in the how-intresting-things-are apartment.
I'll try to describe it for you mortals. Imagine this scenario: You are a
crimson tank, your exp rate is 0, you cannot talk, you have no skills and no
hands. You are in 3 man party tanking monsters while the party talks in
klingshai and you get no exp.
This gets you pretty near the intres-level of snooping.
