I was a blaster for a good chunk of my early days. At 10M, i had like 1damtype
(cold). But, i was able to make decent exp, and had a lot of fun partying with
a semi-regular party, and such. How'd we get by with a 1-type mage? Well, we
generally learned the areas that I could kill in, and used those. A monster
resists? Move on to the next...
No, I couldn't have blasted for eq, but i was pretty passable for
newbie/lowbie exp...

And, no, I was not booned or eq'ed at the time. To this day, my best eqset is
my spr set, and the best item in that set is a pair of red gloves...and at the
time, I had 1 full boon...though now I have 1.5 or so...
