Yes there is a way to avoid it. Dont piss off the spider queen. Get a higher
lvl spider to cleanse you and then dont ever stomp on the spiders.

"higher level"? How do you know the level of the unknown spider in the first
place??
"don't ever stomp"? I've gotten poisoned by spiders just by being in a room...
I totally agree with Solarhawk, do something about this.
