jeez, whats the point really. ppl who dont know how to lead eq (or exp for
that matter) complain about the ppl who know what they are doing. relaly, get
a clue, has kaz even done lear? does kaz even know where lear is? do many of
the newer players know? im sure they know which area, but do they know what to
do, how to do it and what they need to make it be effective? i strongly
believe that the VAST majority of the monsters in the game can be done by
ANYONE. there are 'stupid' amounts of ppl with over 100m exp, and just as many
with over 200 and even higher. but do any of the people have any experience
doing equipment? no. do they learn? no. but what can they do when someone who
is seasoned recommends a tune for a monster? whine because they have no
fucking clue how to do the monster anyways.
yes, while there are monsters in the game that are hard, not everyone can have
TEH best eq in the game. sure there are abusers who like to rape monsters
because its fun or whatever in their mind, so be it, thats life. the point is,
there are too many ppl who just know how to make exp in the game, they have no
knowledge of equipment and yet want everything handed to them on a silver
platter. there is no way rechendak or reaver or wainamoinen or even yaboz is
texactly the same as it was 4-5 years ago. 4-5 years ago it was a different
mud, times change and luckily we have admin that take notice and help the game
evolve.
if you cant find peopel with hands and a clue to take to equipment and you
whine about failing morden or having to bleed 15h at citadel to get your
str/hpr soth plate, thats your own problem. and dont point to boons as being
the most unbalancing factor of the game, i spent 6/7 of my mud years with just
1 full boon, might be hard to beleive but the person behind the player counts.
if you cant deal with that, accept the fact that the game is a casual waste of
time, a hobby in which you enjoy wasting time into. deal with it, maybe power
playing or hours of equipment just werent made for you. if you cant deal with
it, maybe find a different hobby?
