is it possible to reply to a post in a news group you cant post in? I mean
like updates, if i want to reply to a post in updates in bs-group for example?
All i get is You can not post to that group, how about asking me then to what
group i wish to post?
Or if its there already tell calmis you are an idiot!

This place is reserved for something more intelligent.

IMHO new mode asks you for a new group. Old mode prolly doesn't. No plans to
change that directly, maybe will consider for the near future though.

You can already do this, hit r, to reply, make sure article number is
correct, asks if you want to quote the article, then it asks
To which group do you want to reply? [ideas-wanted]

You can change the group right there.
