Even though there hasn't been noticed any specific discontent currently with
elf and drow races, I kind of feel they lack spice because elves are pretty
much only for tarms and drow are only good for priests. That's it. I suggest
to lessen the penalty of being of different alignment. Like instead of halving
all stats, only halve wis for elves and int for drow for example. So we could
have drow healers (who would be crappy blasters) and maybe evil elves. These
races feel a bit boring cause they only get one real choice of background.
