Ok, humans should be able to ride the horses that you buy from ferries. Ok, if
not, then at least the mules. After all, humans are supposed to be the
'average' race so to speak and have been riding horses for bazillions of
years. But no, the mules are too small too. Now at least I know I can stick
the BatMUD label on some My Little Pony(tm) dolls and call them BatMUD toys.

And Bazil seconds this.
I retract my previous statement and blame Bazil. The My Little Pony dolls are
still on sale though.

Oddly enough, I specifically coded horse size so that humans could ride them.
I don't, at this time, see any human so big that they can't ride a
store-bought horse. Barring oddities (you drank a giant size potion) you
should be able to ride a horse as a human. If this is not the case, please
show me so I can fix the issue.
Mules were always intended as pack animals, not riding mounts. That's why
they're cheap.
