Actually, when I was a mortal, I played brownie mainly for their greatly
longer lifespan compared to ducks. It's one of the better features of
brownies.

That being said, I always wondered about the races exprate to that compared to
ducks. Sure, they do have invisibility, and nowadays the minor party heals,
but yea, I'd say they are inferior to ducks in a lot of ways. Then again, they
might be better than some other races with similiar exprates.

Tuning races is by no means an easy feat to do well. Someone will always feel
left out. And even if a lower wizard like me would like to have such a
challenge, I seriously doubt such game affecting tunes would be allowed to be
made by anyone lower than an archwizard. And usually they have other things on
their mind than to spend a month (or more) in figuring out how each and every
race compares to every other race there is. At the same time, trying to keep
the race selection different enough for it to make a difference.
