Ages ago there was tune that there is some non documented rep check to get
ship crew trainers(to discourage multplaying abuses), but is it really needed
anymore since Moss tuned that you need to own ship from the start of the boot
before you can hire trainers.
Reason why im asking this because i have noticed that some peoples ships are
really retardly slow, and without trainers some of them have hardtime catching
npc ships for training points
Of course someone could fix that mnavy rep gain so people would actually gain
rep faster so they would have actual chances for getting those trainers

altogether. The tune wasn't to discourage multiplaying abuses, but to prevent
the 'selling' of special crewmen to other players. It takes away from the
rarity...and causes the exact problem you describe in Paragraph 2 of your
post. With regards to Paragraph 3, I'm in the process of trying to finish up
my new mnavy rep tasks, but it's taking some time to remember my exact plans.
