This year at campcon Savok and I will be running a Chess Tournament.

For those of you that are interested please send me a mudmail indicating
that you would like to enter. The final date for entry is June 1st and
depending on how many people signup will determine how many
games we have running at a time.

The game schedule will be posted before and at campcon.

Please make sure your aware of your game times as everything will be
running on a schedule and if your doing something else for 30 minutes
it will push all the games back. I do not want to put a timelimit on
arrival to each game because I know we are all going to be having a shitton
of fun and we are all probably drunk or mostly drunk.

CampCon Rules:

Rule 1: There is no timelimit on each game you can take as much
time as you require to kick someones ass.
Rule 2: En Passant is a valid move.
Rule 3: If you cannot play at your scheduled time
you forfiet (drunk, trashed etc..)
Rule 4: Entropy Savok and Tank have a best of three discussion to
handle any other argument or rule dispute.

I will need two more judges to assist Savok and I on game monitoring.
What this means is you will sit and watch two people play a game to
verify it and make sure everything is cool. The reasoning for this is
easy Savok and I do not want to spend all Saturday watching people
playing games of chess instead of getting drunk and jumping over
the fire (pokes Tyril).

If you lose a game of chess you are not allowed to burn your opponent
or cast any damage type spells at them. This policy will be enforced.

The final game will be during the early evening of Saturday and
will require SILENCE or close to SILENCE (or we may just move the
game to a secure location). This is just a heads up to everyone
when you see people playing a game of chess please do not bother
them very much again this is not strict just respectful.

I have not yet decided on if we will be doing double or single
elimination. It depends on how many people we have. If we have
alot then we may only have a single elim due to our timeframe.

Dependent on the number of contestance that we have will determine the
award. Also, if we have more than 20 people the top three places will
receive an award.
