This site tracks character experience progress in BatMUD, it's a great way to
see how you and your friends have been improving lately.

The second feature is the achievement system that will be explained in more
detail below.


Experience
**************
On a characters profile you can see experience gains and losses on a graph,
also below the graph there are some nice extra statistics, make sure you check
those out.

Experience data is pulled from the BatMUD website every 30 minutes and the
maximum amount of data stored per character is 30 days.

The exp graph should show the times on it based on where you are located, so if
you are using a VPN it might show the wrong times.

This site will give you a more in depth view of your experience progress
because of the frequent updates.

If you want to see progression over longer periods of time, I would suggest
using Milk's website.


Achievements

You can earn achievement levels by grinding experience - there are
daily/weekly/monthly achievements.

- Daily achievements reset a little after "armageddon"
- Weekly achievements resets on monday midnight
- Monthly achievements reset on the first day of the month

As you earn achievement points, you will keep increasing your achievement
level, the period resets don't affect your gained "total points"
points. You can only gain points, not lose points.

Right now it's only a fun mini-game... Maybe compete with your friends on who
gets better achievements or motivate yourself to gain some more experience.

Maybe in the future it could be something greater?

Avatars
**************
Character avatars are also pulled from the BatMUD website and will be updated
once a day, so if you change your avatar on the BatMUD website, it will
automatically be updated here.

Also any coding expertise is more than welcome if you want to help with this
project, it's mainly done in PHP and JavaScript.

How It Works

The system scans all player experience data and calculates it in real-time.

Experience data is updated every 30 minutes from the BatMUD website.

Currently it will only list maximum of 500 players in each time period.

Players with 0 experience gain are not included in the rankings, so you will
only see players with experience gain in said period.




Time Periods
***************

- Daily: Experience gained in the last 24 hours (counts from "armageddon" to
"armageddon")
- 1 Week: Experience gained in the last 7 days (counts from monday midnight to
monday midnight)
- 2 Week: Experience gained in the last 14 days (counts from monday midnight to
two weeks later)
- Monthly: Experience gained in the last month (counts from the first day of
the month to the first day of the next month)
