This one night I decided to stay logged in and left the keyboard. After I got
back, I found myself in hell. I wondered what could've caused it, clones,
blood bath or some mean-spirited player. Scrolling up the log, I gasped in
astonishment when I saw it's name. Lythlandria!
Lythlandria had entered the room, looked cautiously around and sitted there
for few moments. A little thought crossed her mind, could she actually attempt
to kill an enemy? Instead of getting whipped up and being hunted by half of
the population, now she could spew out some rage! There's no pride in killing
someone idle, but it didn't bother her, the grudges and old bitter feelings
were so deep. She attacked me, the furious battle began.
After some while, she noticed she could barely hit me her puny little spanking
wings, and she was getting beaten by naked player. She fled the room and
healed herself up. Then she checked out her other means of harming the
players. There it was, skill 'Kick' at '62'. The training really paid itself
off! She entered the room and started concentrating on the skill. Too bad I
had already regenerated the three points of damage which she had dealt to me.
Now the kick hit in! It seemed like it did some damage.
She tried persistently to kick me again, but the weaponless nomad's spank and
smack attacks were too much! She had to flee the room again. Her mind was
boggling with the problem, how to deal enough damage without getting beaten up
by those mighty spanks and smacks. She decided to give it another shot, she
entered the room once again. Wow! There was no fight going on. She could just
kick, leave the room, and come back in again!
This went on for hours. Lythlandria delighted in joy, seeing someone lose
shapes by her attacks! She wouldn't give up now. But alas, being in combat
doesn't give you ticks, so she ran low in endurance points. That was a real
problem. She couldn't regenerate faster than I got my hitpoints back. She
thought and thought.. what could help me. Suddenly she noticed the Curse of
Tarmalen in her spell list, the spell that stops regeneration of targets, and
the spell she had grown to be very familiar with, in casting and in being
target of it.
The answer was the Curse's counterpart. Blessing of Tarmalen. By the aid of
her healing Goddess, she regained the endurance points, and proceeded to enter
the room-use kick-leave the room, in similar fashion that players use on
bigger mobs, thought she had no clue about it. Finally I had lost all my
courage to fight back, and dropped unconsciousness. She felt like castrating
me, but unfortunately it wasn't possible.
After several sprite-wing spankings I finally died. It took but merely two
hours. Lythlandria got back her revenge by killing an idle enemy! You should
take advice and not make enemies with her. Lythlandria's mighty battle fury is
something to be feared of.
