Avast ye landlubbers!

We hereby announce the winners of the Best Designed Ship contest.

Judging was done based on four categories:
1) Quality of descriptions: Were they detailed, and image provoking? Were they
well written and easy to understand? If English did not seem to be the
captain's first language, some allowance was made.

2) Thoroughness: Was everything described? The ship's hull, the rooms' long &
short descriptions, items in the rooms. Did the crew & golems have special
short/long desces? emotes? If there was a galley with food lockers, was there
food inside?

3) Consistency: Was there a general theme behind the ship? Perhaps based off
of some story, which is played out in the descs?

Captivation: Was the ship interesting to walk through? Did it really capture
the imagination?

In all cases, a ship was judged versus the various features that it actually
possessed, thus a class 2 ship did not automatically lose out to a fully
featured class 4. With no further ado, here are the WINNERS!!!

Second place: the LOR Sloop Leviathan
Third place: the BAT Frigate ¤ Tsunami ¤


All participants will receive a bonus to their sailor reputations, with the
winners receiving larger amounts and ship point rewards. Congratulations all!
