Blazingly fast new hardware

Balanced Alternative Techniques ry ("B.A.T. ry") has renewed and enlargened its existing server farms with some rather sweet new core services' hardware. This latest investment continues to further improve and speed-up the 23-year old Internet legend; BatMUD, a 'MMO' which utilizes the world's most sophisticated graphics engine - Your own imagination.

The newest BatMUD operating server (in production since Sunday, the 1st of September 2013) is responsible for running the main game services. For maximum IOPS/throughput and low latencies, the server is equipped with enterprise grade single-level cell (SLC) PCIe Solid State Disk (SSD) technology. This merits as a clear reduction in game 'lag', enhancing the free playing experience (BatMUD is a free to play text-based game).
