Three monks, a Dominican, a Franciscan and a Jesuit sat over a bottle of
Cabernet and talked each of their own shortcomings. They said it was easier to
forgive the sins of other people than to get rid of their own, and it is hard
to confess because their superiors would hear about it and punish them
severely. The Franciscan said: 'I drink a lot. Can't control myself. All of
this has been a secret only because I lock my room and get drunk to
insensibility. I hope you guys don't tell this to anyone, or I'll get kicked
out of the order.' Dominican: 'And I love to gamble, you can't trust your
money to me because I'll gamble them away. And there is no way for me to get
rid of it. It's all been a secret because I've just been very lucky so far.
Please don't squeal on me, I'll be in deep trouble if you do.' Jesuit: 'As for
me, I still haven't learned to control my gossiping...'
