Wtf is with this 'No news is good news!' line? It seems that no matter how
much I idle, whenever I come back, and type my compulsive 'news read' (almost
as much a habit as 'ls' or 'pwd' on a unix box), I always get this 'No news is
good news!' line...what, do you think I unidled so I could do something
useful? NO! I unidled so I could either read something interesting, or failing
that, so I could spam random people here with useless/absurd/obscene/whatever
messages as some strange form of entertainment for myself. What happened to
the glorious days of news flurries whipped up by the Charles, or the little
Perna-boy tales/adventures, or the debates about which M&Ms color is
strongest, or what would happen when you drive your pickup truck at the speed
of light and flip the headlights on? Those were the glorious days of news, now
we are just in some sort of dark ages.

So, until the mortals can learn to start posting new topics on their own, I
propose that the wizzes start inserting newer, bigger, harsher, pointless
tunepoles up our rectums so that we can generate more news group traffic. I'm
talking typo tax, putting thieves into the game, upping eq damage, downgrading
any stat on hybrids, allowing coren to code, level-limiting some of the more
common eq, adding rotational boots, etc.
