i noticed last night watch LOTR:TT that treebeard hollered when the hobbit
called him a tree. not sure if this was JRR's exact quote or jsut libert taken
by Mr. jackson. reading the race helpfile, it never says an ent IS a tree and
i dont think we can ascribe any arboral exactitudes then. as the fellow said
in "back to the future" ' why dont you make like a tree...and get out of

I noticed this is BatMUD, not JRRTolkienMUD, so our ents can do whatever our

I noticed this is BatMUD, not JRRTolkienMUD, so our ents can do whatever our
coders want them to do.

Mr. Jackson /did/ take a lot of liberties in that scene. The original is
nothing like that. In fact, in the book Treebeard said that some slumbering
ents are becoming treelike and some more active trees are becoming entlike.

Still they are not trees and still this is not lotrmud and still this is a bs
group.
