Actually, historically banks charged customers for the safekeeping of
their money. The concept of paying interest wasn't introduced until
much later. Heck, in the old days Christianity saw it as a sin to
generate interest or as they saw it "making money from nothing".

So how about it, maybe banks should charge players for the safekeeping? ;)

BC bank does that in a way, since the bank charges for withdrawals and
transfers, but doesn't stand responsible for bank robberies.

IMHO if anything should be coded regarding banks it should be insurances
against bank robberies, say if the bank's customers paid a percentage of each
deposit/transfer received on account those players wouldn't lose gold when
