Not quoting the full Shinarae's reply, few short points.

1. Almost all eq is done by the same forever-playing people here. (well, we
don't
have any new "real" players so thats not a big news I guess)

2. Soloing money is even more BORING than reading bs-news, if someone has the
guts to solo enough money to buy 10m eq - imho he has done ENOUGH work for it.
While it may not sound "fair" - it really is in practise.

3. How many of you seriously solo massive amounts of money, day after day ?
I keep on soloing little by little (usually 100-200k day while I do exp) and I
usually end up with enough money to finance my next reinc.
Granted newbies do not need so much money but they also lack the
knowledge, power and whatever to seriously solo money.

And finally: As all the tunes, I've seen discussion of those done by
a) tells
b) channels
c) nicely output news
d) sarcastic news
e) whiny sarcastic news

And do guess which of these a->e usually gets at least SOME response ?

I have to disagree with this. This one of the biggest flaws of BatMUD as a
game - exp is already achieved only by your ass-muscles (thank Duke for a
small enhancement to this - it has it's flaws but it still is an enhancement)
We really don't want to make 16/7 mudding any more rewarding that already is.
I.e. soloing 10M money by raping newbie mines should _not_ be rewarded in any
way other than having money to pay your next 20 newbie reincs.

The point being - there should be things that need enough WORK but enough
SKILL
