Hello folks. I was cheating by this way: I casted about ten melody of the
misadventurer spells to player x who quited to clean the effects. I already
was stopped casting before anyone asked anything about it and I wasn't warned.
Mainpoint here is that _I wasn't robotting_ there. I didn't realize that it
was even illegal (I haven't seen any helpfile or so which says that quiting
for disliked spells is illegal) and I have seen much worse "kbhabusements"
before that mine was. Maybe consiquences was justified. Sorry for all and
please stop asking about _robotting_ already cause that was not about it.

News flash, our correspondent, mr. Common Sense reporting:
If something is a pain in the ass, it most likely was meant to be a pain in
the ass. If you find a way to make most of the pain go away, you probably are
cheating.
So just to be clear. You are cheating if you cast catchy singalong and
go into the church to remove it?

Not that i care . . .

Actually, i think he said you're cheating if you do anything that makes your
mudding experience easier. So no gaining lvls to make the monsters easier, and
putting on better eq is a BIG no-no.

If it feels like cheating, and you\'re inclined to ask around and read the
help files, odds are it is indeed cheating. Quitting to gain game benefits,
yes I can see how it fits this category. In my opinion, as church removes
the singalong _in game_, and has clearly designed to be this way, it\'s
propably not so much a cheat...

However, all the other borderline cases, be it robotting, cheating or whatnot:
just because somebody else got away with it, doesn\'t mean you will.

As if there ever was one ... the "views" are like a giant windmill, where
wizards are hanging on, the end result being that there are only vague
guidelines, and everything is case-by-case basis. So any talk about "official
BatMud(tm) views" is just a lousy joke.

Same could be said of some tunes, and the claimed rationale for them.
