Be polite.
Asking \"Sorry, can I bother you?\" is being polite. You don\'t storm in to
your superiors and ask some (possibly) stupid questions about how segmented
pouches work as they dont have any help files.

Also, from my own experience, sending that 3-6 line long question does not
generate answers if the person is not in the \"tune\" to listen you. Hell,
neither do i answer to my superiors if they don\'t first snap me out from what
ever im doing and turn my atettion to them.

This is not aimed to be \"pilkun nussintaa\" but friendly reminder that those
that ask \"you got a minute for a Q?\" are trying to be polite AND to get
answer to their possible question if the person in the other end has time to
listen them.
Ah now here we have a classical example how written and spoken communications
separate. If you ask a verbal question you need to first tune the target to
listening you so that he will understand and process that question.
For obivios reasons you do not need to do this in written communication.

So while writing it is a timewaster to ask if i can ask a question from you.
