In their Q1/2007 memo to the investors, Pupunen Ltd. Co. yet again surprised
the Finnish and global international software development market by announcing
immediate release of their "maputils" software package as of today (18 Jan
2007). Maputils, which has been one of the core products developed and used
internally in Pupunen Ltd. for almost a year, is now released to the public as
Free Software (software libre) under GNU General Public License version 2.

Main developer, software architect and co-owner of Pupunen Ltd., Ggr comments:
"Maputils was originally developed as an internal tool for providing
BatMUD(tm) map services, including the old BatCity interactive map, and now
the BatMUD: Age of Exiles maps. These tools are used, to put it simply, for
processing the mapdata into different formats."

The newly released software packages also include the raw map- and location
data, of which the original map-data has been acquired from Zerobelow.NET
Mapping Solutions. Ooga of ZNMS Inc. was unavailable for comment, but Pupunen
Ltd. would like to extend their sincerest thanks for this most profitable and
succesful business transaction.

Currently Pupunen Ltd. provides the "maputils" package only through their
public Subversion repository, but in future they may be willing to release
packaged versions. UNIX-type platforms are directly supported, but the code is
ANSI/ISO-C, and thus can be compiled (or cross-compiled) for Windows(tm) and
Mac OS X platforms too.
