You've got to admit it, Iraqi fighters have got balls. This guy's putting up
explosives to the Bradley under the very noses of U.S. soldiers. I assume the
tank is empty at the time, but anyway. Here's the link:

P.S. The hysterical 'triggerfinger' syndrome hits once again.. I wonder what
those soldiers think they're shooting at..

I think I recall reading from somewhere that modern tanks have these systems
that automatically start firing all functional weapon systems when the tank
has taken severe damage and it can be assumed that the crew is incapacitated

Hmm, that may be. But imho after that amount of explosive (notice the ball of
fire), i kind of doubt any weapons systems would be intact (also considering
it isn't even an abrams tank, but generally an apc-type vehicle).

In that video, i find it funny that:
A Bradley is referred to as a tank.
I can't think of any reason why a bradley would just be left standing in an
urban area with it not even trying to look about or any support on the
outside. Just suicidal
The gunfire starts wayyyy too late to be any automated system. There is are no
muzzle flashes from any of its main weapons. And the shooting stops just when
the smoke clears.
My guess is that its either an abandoned vehicle left behind for some reason,
or a mock target made to look like a bradley that was blown up and later the
gunfire was edited in.

Well, a bradley can be classified as a 'light tank' or a 'reconnaisance tank'
(imho). I kind of don't think those soldiers to be infallible. It's quite
possible to be too tired to leave guard around a vehicle when the crew is
obviously inside that house. Also, if you notice, there's a guard posted on
the balcony of that house, but he's way bored or something :) Shit happens.
And enough vehicles are blasted throughout Iraq every day for Iraqis to resort
to fakes, i think. Besides, given the state of Iraq's economy and the fact
that the 'insurgents' have absolutely NO infrastructure.. how do you suppose
they could have manufactured a fake bradley? it looks solid enough not to be
paper&cardboard. And intact enough not to be a blown up vehicle left by the
army (U.S. troops have a shortage of vehicles, and this one most certainly
would NOT be left around to be picked up). Anyway, that was my two cents on
the subject.

Uh.. Wouldn't that be quite suicidal incase you are escorting your own and get
incapacitated?
