There seems to be a greater frequency of people that have been here a long time
getting removed for violating the rules. I was wondering why, as that combined
with the loss of players from the continent tunes seems to be cutting down the
number of active players vastly. Here are the reasons I can come up with:

1) Yes, they are that stupid. They play a game for multiple years, knowing
that certain forms of cheating will get them removed. But when they find a
loop-hole they still abuse it.

2) Suicide by Arch. After investing all that time into their char they just
can\'t let go, so they make it someone else\'s decisiion.

3) Arches have more time to look for cheaters at this time of the year / More
people are bored and decide to squeel.

4) Punishments have gotten harder.

Its prolly just a combination of all 4, but it\'ll be interesting to find out
what others say.

Belive me, we don't have nearly as much time to look for cheaters as cheaters
spend abusing loopholes. However, even though the playerbase seems to be
decreasing, it in no way justifies rules violations.

Are you suggesting that we should make this "do whatever you want" MUD and let
everyone abuse anything they can find just because we lost one or two players?

^o^

I am not suggesting any action, I am wondering what is changing. And if any
action should be the result. I am not accusing any Arch of being a power
hungry nutter. My dealilngs with them have always left me feeling that they
are fair, especially in a "mud as the whole sense".

Idiots are idiots wherever you go, I just don't wanna loose all the idiots not
so stupid-but-loyal friends and make this a dead mud.
