This talk about newbie eq is bit redundant as it is much easier to get 100m+
exp and then get into big guys parties than start to do your own eq with some
30m exp.

Purely out of interest, could someone, e.g. a wiz, please post some examples
or representative examples of what is considered available newbie eq for
newbies.

I'd just like to know what I have either been missing or what we are
talking about. If, and I don't have any opinion of my own here, there
is a perceived lack of newbie eq, it could just be that other eq is
just too readily available to make it worth trying to get anything
that is not so good.

There's also the often discussed difficulties with getting together
parties of real newbies.

Haershin axe
Marion axe
rod of artemis
torn leather muscle shirt
emerald ring
hunters ring
xarithos ring
ruby ring
boots of kilrathi
lilian bracelets
kinky leggings
heavy black metal ring
slender sword
8 wis witchking leggings

dodge bracelets
fang necklace
sadisto gauntlets
dragon helm
deer antlers
+mining eqs
spider sabre
9 dex staff

and lots of others than i don't even wanna think currently.

There are lot of other eqs if you even want to explore a bit. That's just a
short list of half decent eqs that newbies can get. If they explore they might
get some better equipment also.

Thanks, but I was actually talking about the eq that was mentioned earlier,
the kind of stuff that is apparently overlooked and not chested much (or at
all).

Would you also like to have the cherry on top?

Please, try exploring and do not expect the walkthrough.

Walk through? Why thats a great idea! His question was the names of the eq im
sure. The exact names instead of this crap "+mining eq" yeah, i can list what
might be good for me too, doesnt mean i know what it is or where it comes
from. I dont even need to know where it comes from, just give me the idea what
it is and I will get enough money/party members to go look for it, there are
enough clues in the game, but if you dont know what you are looking for, how
the hell are you supposed to even begin finding it? especially when it is
unlike a quest item that jumps out at you in a description of the room and so
forth. We are talking about the name of the eq, not the precise exact monster
it is on

hmm, ok, I'm obviously crap at making myself clear. I was requesting
that a wiz (or anyone who actually knows) would post some kind of
examples of the kind of newbie eq that is supposedly missed by players.
I was not asking for specific information about specific eq or areas
etc, but rather an example of the general kind of thing that was
being discussed. So, while a wiz could post some details of an actual
piece of eq, I was expecting just a rough idea of the kind of thing
that is actually out there.

Just for interest, so I know the kind of thing that I could have
found when it might have been useful to me. I doubt that the
stuff is going to appear to me now, but, if there are decent bits
of newbie eq out there that I could get, I might take a bit more
care when looking around again.
