Legalize roboting.

There's no real reason to say it's illegal. It's just a matter of choice.

How ever there are at least a few things that need to be done in order to
prevent people from abusing it:
1) You should down tune 'create money' spell.
2) You should make monsters flee more often at vbs/nd.
3) See for some time that any player doesn't benefit too much from it, i.e.
with simple coding.

I try to answer this with three simple words:

The post clearly states the request, but doesn't explain why roboting
should be legalized. Usually the one who suggests a change also comes
up with the reason for the change and only in rare cases people should
have to defend the current situation which in this case is the ruling
made in a helpfile. This is especially true in those cases when amount
of work is needed to be done to make the new change fit in to the new
ruleset.

Generally speaking, the change seems groundless and would only result
in extra work with no beneficial outcome at all.
Before I get to the potentially inflammatory portion of this, I just want to
preface it by saying that 1) I'm not taking a position on roboting, and 2) I
agree with Darol's statement that clearly some reasoning should be given when
advocating a change.

Now, a strict reading of help cheating, "Roboting (making triggers that do you
exp/money etc. while you are not present)", leads to the conclusion that all
triggers (excepting those otherwise mentioned) are legal so long as the player
is "present". It also would render legal various types of robots which do not
produce "exp/money etc."

There are two clear gaps in the roboting description, "etc" and "present". I
think that both of these basically translate to "at wizard's discretion".
KBHing isn't exp/money, but it appears to be "etc", at least for now. Would a
cure light wounds robot at SC be "etc"? I don't know. Are heal all timers
"etc"? I don't know. Am I "present" if my web browser is in front of my mud
client? What if they are side by side but I'm so engrossed in an article that
I'm ignoring the client? What if I go to the bathroom? What if I fall asleep?
A strict interpretation of "present" would allow for all of those except for
the bathroom. I suspect that some wizards wouldn't consider any of those
situations to be "present".

If the comments about roboting are confusing in help cheating, try reading
help robot... it clearly states that triggers which cause you to use skills or
spells based on input from the game or on a timer are illegal
