Threaded conversation.

This occurred to me, when one dork consistently trolls a certain
channel with absurd claims, utterly pointless comments and such.
I got this individual on ignore, but I can still see everybody
else's comments to it. I could close the channel, yes, but
something else might occur on the channel that I'm actually interested
in. So, why don't we create threaded conversations?

It would work like this:
Quote:
set thread_conv on
Now, everybody with threads set on, would see my comment as such:

Acidia [bat/453]: i r teh greatest ever!

The ID is randomly generated for me only, lasting one boot.

Now, if you'd like to participate in this chat, you'd just do:
Quote:
thread 453
bat yes we know
Durand <bat/453>: yes we know.

Now, if you'd like to continue watching this epic thread, you just
use the id (453). If you dont want to watch it, you could type:
Quote:
thread close 453
And anything from now on written with the id 453 would not appear
in your screen.
Although this only works if people respect those thread id's.

Great idea, huh?

This brainfart was sponsored by a huge hangover and a subway-sandwich.
