So I was at the movies with my wife. I don't know what movie it was, but
anyway, something went wrong with the doors or something because we all had to
stay there for the night, which was ok. All the seats were removed and we had
sleeping bags with us. We slept well on the floor along with hundreds of other
people. My sleeping bag was warm and cozy. I woke up sometime in the middle of
the night. I heard some strange sound or something, and decided to go outside
to have a look.
I opened the door from the theatre and stepped out into a humid concrete
corridor, which opened up into a rainy street. I smoked a cigarrette there,
before deciding to go back to sleep. When I came back to the door however, I
noticed that it didn't lead back into the theatre anymore, but into a corridor
dug into the ground with roots sticking out of the walls and everything.
I followed the corridor and carefully opened an old wooden door at random.
Inside, I could see a couple of green-skinned humanoids stirring an enormous
kettle, and a large ogre emptying a sack of humans into the kettle. The humans
were all inside sleeping bags.
I decided that now would be a good time to wake up my wife, so I sneaked back
along the corridor to find the entrance to the theatre. I figured the ogre was
really really silent if he managed to pick up people from the floor in their
sleep without waking them or any of the others.
The door to the theatre was gone. There was some trick with it, that it opened
into different places
each time I opened and closed it, but I couldn't figure out the correct
sequence. So I went back to the room with the kettle. There was only the ogre
there now, so I picked up a large kitchen knife and stabbed the ogre in the
back, right through his heart. He looked surprised and collapsed soundlessly.
I could hear some voices from the corridor and found myself a hiding place.
One of the green-skinned guys entered the room along with some brown-skinned
guy, which for some reason was much more evil than the others.
The brown-skinned guy removed his head, and hung it from the hair in some kind
of scales hanging from the ceiling. He used a long iron rod to sift in the
fire in a huge forge that now was in the room. There was an anvil inside the
forge, on which he placed a battered bronze ring. Both the green- and the
brown-skinned guy were surprised when the ring didn't melt, or even start
glowing.
The green-skinned guy decided that the ring was his, so he took down the
brown-guy's head from the scales and was about to throw the head into the
fire, whereupon the head said that it was a bad idea, because his legs would
get him, eventually. The green guy threw the head into the fire anyway and
snatched the ring. I fled from the room and found the theatre and woke my
wife. I think we escaped.
Meanwhile in the cave, the rest of the brown man was following the green guy.
Every time he got close, the green guy beat him down. But every time he
regenerated and came after him again. Eventually, I think the brown guy got
his revenge.
At that point my cat decided to sneak under my sheet and I woke up.
