I think people tend to avoid bard performances becuase there is no benefit.
Bard songs give benefits, how about making the plays do something as well,
perhaps similar to godly presence or so. The benefit would last (after leaving
the performance) equal to the time spent watching, max of 30 mins or so.
We might actually get people to attend these social events, and take a break
from exp-ing.

is as good as having them not attend at all.
