I really hope wizards could see the problem with new ss like winter+. I am
actively trying to get new members into doing harder and harder eqs. Yet it
seems it requires some 2 years waiting certain rape prots down and going to
the monster the first day possible to kill it. This problem of inflation just
makes me ponder who the hell is talking about everyone having certain eq. I
bet that even with rape prots being max 2 weeks or no rape prots. We still
would be here grinding monster after 2 years or even 20? Ive been around here
for odd 13 years, and yes I still need more eq. I find it silly saying that
inflations fucks everything up. We need new players one way could be that new
players could get help from lets say there winter+ members that I would be
atleast willing to try to make eqs. They could then be inspered to trying to
gather eq sets. (with rape prots it takes some 2 years to gather those eqs
that you probably want to get for those big ass monsters) I dont think that
most of those dirty leggings, ice belts what not will just be enough for most
of the REAL shit that we have around here like sera,valentina etc. Would be
better if those members had some pieces of eq that have like 3 month prot so
9x3months = 18months optimally?? Last note is that individual wizards should
not be made to choose lenghts of rape prots there should be rather a council
of wizards trying to get rape prots to _SAME_ level for most monster with
certain valueable items. Not that one has no prot, 2nd has 1 month and 3rd has
6 month prot. Its really hard to even gather parties to do those eqs, so
asking 8 members about what rape prots they have make it even harder, well
lets say it impossible most of times. Most members dont wanna kill zxcy so u
can just fail eq for that day, since 1-3 have prot and cant find replacement.

This is starting to be so hilarious to read I just have to throw in my spoon
too and maybe give someone else some regenfodder.

While I (also) don't see point in 3-6months of abuseprotection I have never -
let me repeat - never had a problem with them in my years here. (Maybe they
are for more hc gamers than I am.)

Few reasons:
I for one usually have much longer mental prot for the adventure than the
'rapeprot' is. Usually just hitting the same mob time after time (read
grinding) gets REALLY boring fast so I'm mainly happy I don't have to see some
faces in a month or two.

There is MUCH content in the game so explore something new. Even if you do one
bigger eq mob everyday do you really hit that many prots if you variety your
kills enough? Fast check on list what Valkrist has put up from some prot times
gives 30-40 mobs with varying prottimers and at least as much eq mobs without.

You know there is a sales channel where you can also buy and trade the stuff
so you don't have to dice or even own every piece of eq from the game at once.
You can keep trading them to stuff you need now/soon with some items that you
don't or form up eqpools with buddies. If you choose to go the hamster way its
your own personal choosing.

Nutshell: Don't whine the game to be changed if the problem is that you are
totally unable to cope/adapt with the frame given. The other option might not
work so good to some other player you know

Writers note: I'm not so called 'hibie' but prolly not totally nubu either. I
consider myself as an active player. Never killed sera,tiamat,burgle,kizard
etc... or hell not even killed Skie ever, tho been in party or two failing it.
Have some eq that mostly have led myself.
Atm my "rapeprots"-list contains 2 items: few days for Eidilon and few days
for gaiter thats all.
