Removing backgrounds (and the guild restrictions they offer) would offer a lot
more variety to reincing. Allthou there would be need for certain restrictions
to skills/spells/guilds you get in certain combination of guilds. But this
way, we could have more difference and flavour in our reincs. The
spmax/hpmax/epmax ratios and statbonuses we get from backgrounds now, could be
granted from the guilds.

p.s. I know a certain person has a freebg wish for reincing...
The BatMUD council had a vote on a proposal to relieve some of the background
restrictions to guilds. The vote did not pass. Suck it up.

Dear mr. Shinarae, ideas for "more customized" backgrounds was not totally
"rejected" as you try to point out. It was voted as "bad" and as there was
already another suggestion around the same topic which seemed better than the
previous and will be considered in the future.

As the last post about council meeting said:
b) Multiple Backgrounds

- The proposed solution by Anonymous was seen inadequate and thus rejected.
A new improved proposal by Anonymous was agreed to be taken into consideration
in the future.

Please do not spread false information (about things that are none of your
business) that makes some party look like villains. Especially when you do not
understand the language things are discussed in.

What I wanna know is, who this Anonymous person is. I see these
newsposts about Batmud council and Anonymous and Anonymous and
Anonymous. I thought Bat had a strict no-multiplaying rule. Also
this dude seems rather schitzo, maybe he needs to take more drugs....

b) I was spreading false information, when your own damn quote verified what I
said verbatim.

a) Council stuff is none of your business, we do not reject or approve ideas
and such according to who has planned them. Please do not "inform" on what is
going to happen and what is not going to happen when you *apparently have no
clue*.
b) You give the message that nothing is going to happen, which is false. Which
you might notice if you bothered to read the whole sentence which I repeat
here:

Especially the part, please pardon me if I repeat myself:
