A couple comments about random "people," good and bad...
1) Beliah, yes that idea about turning on power hour when wanted has been
mentioned before and not been added to the game, I am completely indifferent
about the idea or premise, however I appreciate you bringing it up again,
because time and time again, ideas are brought up and not all of which are
implemented the first time around, however throughout the history of this mud
ideas which are brought up repeatedly and by different people are at times
given more weight, various other factors also go into ideas being rejected and
then later implemented, because they are seen by different wizzes, different
arches, seen in different ways etc etc. So although your idea is old, thanks
for bringing it up.
2) Gorge, as i said above I am indifferent towards Beliahs idea, but since
when is it up to you whether an idea is good or worth mentioning, how bout you
bring up some ideas for things we can implement besides a pocket pussy which
you can hook up to you keyboard and get off. Many people on here come together
and exchange ideas and although his idea may suck in your eyes and other
people eyes, someone else may read that and come up with a different twist
which might make more sense and be implemented, and if there is one thing a
game like this needs is ideas, fresh and recycled, because this game thrives
on its fluidity and change in gaming, playing, and administrative guidelines.
3) Malicat: Power Hour was removed because people were giving helpful ideas?
Thats some interesting logic, if I were to follow that logic many things in
this game should be removed because of users offering "helpful" ideas, I mean,
how dare they do that, it's such insanity that people actually use that damned
evil ideas-wanted news group. Everyone who uses it should be banned, because
sooner or later all features in this game will be removed.
In fact if we were to follow that logic, when everyone complained and offered
"helpful" idea of what to do with some special person, who decided to give
away all their exp by dying and accepting ress from friends, sell their tps,
then give away eq and cash, then magically was able to unsuicide, perhaps
those "helpful" ideas would have had some effect on that person and maybe they
would have stayed suicided, perhaps even had an ip ban.
